Ely's story embodies

Transformational Leadership.

LEAD is rooted in the community of Northeast Los Angeles by way of Lincoln Heights. Our community has a rich history of culture and activism. In the past couple of decades, our community has been affected by high incarceration rates, high unemployment, and low education success.

Leadership through Empowerment, Action, & Dialogue Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization that builds youth leadership, equitable communities, and agents for social transformation. Through our LEAD YouthBuild, we re-engage youth ages 17-24 in their high school education and prepare them for success in college and careers.
